To all my beloved Avalonians,

your asst OG head is gg to elope with your OG head shihan to India.
Our parents object us being together so we have decided to leave for a faraway land that no one can find us.

HELLO FELLOW AVALON-ERS!!

its about 4 hours away from my flight.. i am sorry that both me and yongsheng will not be around from the 9th to the 24th.. so currently, xianglin will take over for this period of time.. if there is any suggestions for any of the things that i have posted or we have discussed.. pls contact her!!

as for the plan for this 2 weeks..

things to be done:

1. the banner- xiang lin will confirm the banner design as the teachers in charge will have to approve our design first before we can start painting.. try to confirm the design before 19 nov so that you guys can start painting on the 19th nov... try to finish it in 2 days time?? JIA YOU!!!
2. identities- pls keep a look out for our identities, the handphone strap(those long ones to be hang around the neck), shoelace, lightsticks ad whistles!! if you think it is cheap enough and quality is good, pls buy it!! claim money from our dear treasurer!! JOVENA!!
3. og funds- pls pay JOVENA 5 bucks for our og. and for ppl that havent pay on the first meeting because you werent there, pls pay 5 bucks too to the sc ppl(can Jovena help in this?)
4. OG outings!!- have fun!! meet up for dinner or something.. anyway you guys need to meet up again soon for the design to be confirmed to start searching for the materials for the mannequin!! GO SETTLERS CAFE!!(maybe the pioneers of the outing: denis and desmond want to initiate??) lol have fun at settlers!!!

The main idea of our skit is...

first, there will be a beast walking out, killing some villagers. at the same time, there are rows of tree armies(in ponchos with leaves). then avalon, a female warrior walks out and attempts to kill the beast, however she alone is unable to do it. finally, she plays her magic flute and taa daa, the butterflies all flew to her, the trees TRANSFORMS into the army and together the army and avalon killed the beast. VICTORY!!

MANNEQUIN

so for the mannequin..
the knight will wear some forest looking costume.. may be ponchos with leaves or twigs??
then we will be making a shield for it right??? with cardboard boxes...
it will also carry a flute and a spear

Storyline

Long ago in the history of time, there lived a ferocious beast in the mythical forest of Brocéliande, off the coast of Brittany. This beast killed many innocent people in nearby villages. Brave warriors and soldiers who sought the life of this beast all died in its lethal hands.

Greatly perturbed by this beast, Avalon, a female warrior residing in the forest, decided to kill this beast once and for all. Using her magical flute, Avalon managed to call for the elements of the forest and finally exterminated this beast.

After her victory, Queen Victoria named Avalon the Warrior of The Forest. She set up a formidable army in the forest and became invincible. Together with her army, Avalon fought and killed numerous enemies and beasts that tried to take away Queen Victoria’s life.

Though courageous and invincible, Avalon has a soft side to her. With her magical flute, she is able to call for all the butterflies and birds, which are her friends in the forest.
